Intralogistics System Installation in Germany
Intralogistics System Installation in Germany
- Location: Germany
- Duration: Q1 - Q2 2026
- Scope: Mechanical assembly & electrical installation
EPCIDO carried out the complete mechanical assembly and electrical installation of intralogistics conveying systems for a large, highly automated B2B logistics hub in Germany, supporting a Europe-wide network of specialist dealers and industrial partners. The facility serves as a central fulfilment and supply chain backbone.
The team’s task was to integrate a high-speed ASRS for high-density storage and goods-to-person picking with key operational areas of the warehouse, including goods receiving, loading, packing, sorting, and dispatch zones. Delivered across Q1 and Q2 2026, the project was executed as an integrated service combining planning, site coordination, mechanical assembly, electrical installation, and quality control under EPCIDO’s full responsibility.
Execution & Technical Scope:
- Infrastructure Scale: Assembly and wiring of 6 km of roller and belt conveyor lines, including full mechanical build, cabling, and integration of all system components.
- System Throughput: Integration of components designed to support a throughput of 15,000 totes per hour in the main area and 2,400 totes per hour at the receiving points.
- Dynamic Components: Installation of vertical lifts and driven roller modules with precise timing and fast response requirements.
- Technical & Execution Challenges: Work at height (conveyor sections at 6 metres with strict HSE procedures) and high density of cable routes, sensors, and traffic-diverting modules.
“Delivering this complex intralogistics installation in Q1 and Q2 of 2026 required rigorous site coordination and seamless integration between mechanical and electrical scopes. By successfully managing work at height, precision alignments, and advanced high-speed system components, we provided a robust and reliable automation backbone for our client's central European operations.”
